Items Needed:
Container w/ lid (I use jelly mason jars)
Epsom salt/sea salt (or both)
food coloring (liquid)
Essential oils (scent of choice)
Fill jar almost completely to top with salt (one or both). (I leave a small area, so I can shake jar up when I add oil & coloring.)
Add in essential oils shaking to mix, the amount is up to you (on how strong you want the scent); add only a few drops at a time until you reach the desired scent.
The same goes with food coloring, add a few drops at a time, shaking to mix. Adding more color until you reach desired color.
Seal container. Decorate jar, if you desire. Keep for self or give as gift.
Keep in mind that both the scent & color will be diluted in bath water. I have yet to have a color stain the tub or body.
Make sure you keep a note of how much essential oil & food coloring you used. This will make it so much easier to re-create your desired bath salt.
